about artist

This artwork explores the receding waters of Attabad Lake, a stark reality driven by global warming. Using a transparent acrylic sheet, I have painted two contrasting layers.

The front side displays the river as it shrinks today, shallow, dwindling, and altered. On the back, ! painted the vibrant flow where it once rushed. This layered technique creates a haunting visual depth, capturing the memory of the landscape. By showing what is lost right behind what remains, the work highlights environmental destruction. It asks viewers to confront the rapid loss of our natural world before it fades entirely into history.
